Founders' Note

Reading has always been my passion and TRA is a DREAM COME TRUE. We not only want TRA to be a traditional book club but also look forward to transforming it into a discussion platform which would be one of its kinds where people from all walks of life would get a chance for healthy, intellectual discourse.

We are keen to explore not only international but local titles together with classic Urdu novels also as we believe its our responsibility as founders of this book club to appreciate and acknowledge our writers via TRA platform. Whether you are a writer or a reader, TRA is a place where you will experience thought provoking dialogue over a great cup of coffee.

So, join us and celebrate the spirit of book reading.

Cheers!

It is indeed immensely challenging to initiate a book club in an environment where infusing love for reading among the masses seems to be a tough target to accomplish.

I feel The Readers’ Avenue (TRA), in this regard, serves more as a trendsetter with respect to molding people’s priorities rather than merely a book club. To elaborate, TRA is a struggle and a long term campaign to instill interest in reading among the general public. We have to go a long way; to be able to achieve our objective, we as a team need to be persistent!

Happy Reading!
